FGH Security scoops full investment at Dragons’ Den Program in UK

26 July, 2010

FGH Security, one of the largest security suppliers based in the northwest UK, have become one of the few companies in all eight series of the Dragons' Den program aired in the UK, to have been offered a full investment by all five Dragons.

Dragons' Den is a series of reality television programs aired worldwide, featuring entrepreneurs pitching their business ideas for securing investment finance from a panel of venture capitalists. FGH Security participated in the latest series of the program and secured full investment. As an icing on the cake, Peter Harrison, managing director of FGH and Wesley Downham, business director of FGH, also offered two of the Dragons, Theo Paphitis and Peter Jones a joint stake in their business.

Peter Harrison said that it’s unbelievable to have five of the nation’s key business personalities attempting to be part of FGH.

One of the Dragon, Peter Jones remarked that FGH Security is one of those companies that have shown the potential for real growth and with little investment and advice, the company can become one of the largest security providers in the UK in few years. He also added that he found FGH Security to be a suitable fit in his business portfolio and a complement to his data solutions company Wireless Logic.

FGH Security provides a range of security services to public and private sector clients across the UK. It comprises two brands, FGH Security and FGH Guardhall. FGH Security covers all the manned security divisions ranging from Security Guards through to Event Security Teams while FGH Guardhall is responsible for the company’s electronic security solutions, primarily intruder alarms and CCTV, access control and remote monitoring. Both areas of the company work together to provide fully integrated solutions to a range of clients.
