Sodexo and Planon enter facilities management alliance
22 July, 2010
French food and facilities management services provider Sodexo and UK-based provider of integrated workplace management solutions Planon have collaborated to coordinate Sodexo’s wide network of remote operations around the world.
Sodexo has employed Planon to implement a new maintenance management system that would help manage business activities on a global scale.
With Sodexo services catering for more than a thousand sites over the world, the solution that was chosen required the facilities management specialist’s teams to have complete control on each element of the process, which ranges from stock and maintenance management to work-order control and helpdesk services.
Pascal Milland, vice president of facilities management services for Sodexo said that the new system from Planon would boost the efficiency and also provide significant and tangible benefits for Sodexo’s base of global clients. The system would also come handy as any team from anywhere in the world would be able to access the support provided, at the same time draw upon the expertise of other teams and individuals, enabling a company-wide sharing of best practices to the benefit of the staff as well as clients.
